It’s amazing what can happen on a university campus.
We came to college with our own plans and dreams, but God had something even bigger for us. After radically transforming both of our lives through the work of the Holy Spirit, God began using us to transform the students around us. We were struck by how pivotal a window in time college is for many. At no other time are people so ready to drop everything for the sake of the gospel!
We experienced this firsthand when God called us away from our career goals, asking us to invest our futures in the lives of students. After lots of prayer and frequently asking “Is that really you, God?” we committed ourselves to each other and to this strategic mission field.

Campus ministry has been our lives for the past five years. As students in the Chi Alpha at Eastern Michigan University, we had the chance to learn and grow while ministering to our classmates and peers. We have both served in a variety of ministries and leadership positions within our Chi Alpha chapter:
-Leading the group's missions program (leading short-term trips, raising missions funds, etc)
-Serving on the student board of the Chi Alpha and our local church
-Leadership of our small group system and several evangelistic venues
After graduating from college, we completed a Campus Missionary in Training (CMIT) intership. This personalized mentoring is Chi Alpha's way of preparing people for full-time missionary service.
Most recently, we have joined a team of people who are in the process of revitalizing Chi Alpha in Indiana, beginning with Purdue University. Linda Seiler, a veteran missionary, is leading our team and providing additional on-the-job training.
